Snow place like home
..and there's always a place for a good old 'snow' joke.
Looking lovely here in Leeds, made the best roast yet for my housemates birthday, had a really cosy day!
Working on designs tomorrow, deadlines are looming..
Some snaps from the other night (with a few sneaky adjusments)

Cosy snow day
A crisp layer of snow outside, sofa, duvet..lovely. Watching "Leon"..

..a young Natalie Portman taken under the wing of illusive french hitman after her entire family are brutally murdered. Very intense film, emotional, really impressed by young Portman, although watchhing her, 13, flirting with a man of 40(ish) is slightly weird.
Plan to watch this later.. missed out on it at the recent Film Festival here in Leeds. Looks pretty gripping, might need a pillow at the ready to hind behind..

This afternoon we had an interesting and very entertaining lecture from legendary fashion writer Colin McDowell. He gave us an insight into the world of fashion journalism and from what i gathered, it is based around fancy dinners 'in a very posh restaurant' in London and regular flights to destinations all across the globe, not forgetting the hard work entailed and the 'being in the right place at the right time' opportunites.
"Infact I'm having dinner with Prada tomorrow evening" - seems like an ideal career to me!
"Don't knock it till you've tried it; and then try it twice"
one.
I am currently a second year student studying Fashion Design at the University of Leeds, specialising in Menswear.I intend to share with you my work, ideas and inspiration in Fashion and everything I do.
So im pretty new to this......first post should surely be in honour of my chosen background image and focus point of my recent projects; Comme des Garcons.
I love the tartan prints, vivid colours and sense of fun and curiosity conveyed by the brand.
